Although our Cotillion season is months away, we wanted to send out our registration and dates. We are closely watching the COVID-19 developments and we know your priority is the safety of your children, and it is ours, too.
As of now, registration is open. we will allow refunds if it is necessary to cancel our classes this Fall. We realize this is a fluid and rapidly changing situation.
As always, we thank you for entrusting us with your precious children. Stay well!
Teaching is my PASSION! It is my goal to reach each and every child who enrolls in our Program. I want them to understand the importance of knowing proper etiquette and manners and the positive impact these skills can have on their lives. I became a director of Durham Junior Cotillion in 2012. I graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. I am a Durham native. I am married to Drew and we have three daughters. Two who graduated from the Program and one who is currently enrolled. I took some of the first Cotillion classes under the guidance of Mr. Barnes and look back on those times fondly. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to teach your children Cotillion. I am so appreciative of these precious relationships each season!
I have been a director of Durham Junior Cotillion since 2011. I am a Durham native and attended this Cotillion when it was under the direction of Mr. Barnes. I was also a High School helper when Mrs. Brame and Mrs. Rouse were the directors. I graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. I am married to Rob and we have a son Price and daughter Sutton, both of my children participated in Cotillion. I loved Cotillion when I was in it myself, and I am excited now to be able to teach it to others!
Are you still trying to teach your children the proper way to conduct themselves during a nice dinner? How to set the table, use the right utensils, and how to cut food? Understanding the importance of writing a thank you note, or what is appropriate when it comes to social media? WE ARE HERE TO HELP! We teach 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders the etiquette and social skills they will need to be confident young ladies and gentlemen moving into adulthood. Come join the FUN!
